India Business eVisa — When You Need It
The India Business eVisa is intended for travellers visiting India for professional or commercial purposes. This includes attending business meetings and conferences, participating in trade fairs and exhibitions, conducting negotiations, recruiting staff and carrying out technical work, such as installation, commissioning or maintenance, related to equipment supplied to an Indian company. If your trip is for business rather than tourism or employment purposes, this is the correct visa type. Convenient Application — Your Passport Stays With You
Unlike a regular visa, the eVisa is issued entirely electronically. You do not need to hand in your physical passport and there is no need to visit an embassy or visa centre in person. Simply send us your documents by email. We will handle the application on your behalf and you will receive your approved eVisa by email — ready to print and carry with you. This is ideal if you travel frequently or need your passport for other trips in the meantime, as your passport stays in your hands throughout the entire process.
E-Arrival Card — Mandatory for Every Traveller
Since 1 April 2026, all foreign travellers must complete India’s digital e-Arrival Card before entering the country. It replaces the old paper disembarkation form and must be filled in at least 72 hours before arrival. As part of our service, we will submit your e-Arrival Card correctly and on time, meaning all you will need to do is present the QR code to immigration officials upon arrival.
