Please note: Foreign nationals who intend to travel to Egypt but are not eligible for an eVisa must apply for a Regular Visa Application

You can apply for a visa before booking a flight, but you must provide your accommodation's contact details in the application. Planning your entire trip isn't necessary at this stage; one accommodation address is enough. However, you need to present a travel plan upon entering Egypt, including booked accommodation and a return flight, as this information will be checked by immigration authorities.

The entry date mentioned in your eVisa application is not fixed; only the validity period is. You are free to begin your travels at any point during the 90-day validity of the eVisa.

When entering the Arab Republic of Egypt, you must present your passport valid for at least 6 months, the printout of your eVisa, a supporting letter e.g. letter from company or invitation letter for business visits, your hotel reservation and your return or onward travel ticket.
