China “M” business visas are issued for commercial and trade activities, such as visiting clients, meeting with business partners, and attending trade fairs.
This visa has single entry (valid for 3 months), double entry (valid for 6 months) and multiple entry (valid for 12 months) options, with stays between 30, 60 or 90 days (note that it is up to the embassy on the length of stay you will be granted).
To further facilitate visa application, the Chinese Embassy in Bern and the Chinese Consulate in Zurich will exempt the requirement of fingerprints collection for all applicants who are applying for single or double-entry short-term visa from September 2, 2024 to December 31, 2026.
This means that you can mail (registered post or courier) the required documents for the business visa (single or double entry) to us, and the applicant is not required to visit the China Visa Application Centre in Zurich or Bern to submit their fingerprints in person.
To get a multiple entry visa, you still need to submit your documents and an application form to the China Visa Application Centre in person.
