This type of visa is issued to foreign citizens who wish to enter the Kingdom of Thailand to attend meetings, seminars, etc., where the applicant remains employed by the company in Switzerland. This allows the visa holder to enter Thailand once (single entry) with a maximum stay of 90 days.
While some countries enjoy a visa exemption for Thailand, this exemption usually applies only for tourism. Therefore, if you are from a visa-exempt country, it’s wise to check if a Business eVisa is required for your trip, especially if you will not be doing any paid work. More information is provided below.
Additionally, for those who frequently travel to Thailand for business, a one-year visa option is available. This visa allows multiple entries, with each stay lasting up to 90 days. Please reach out to us for inquiries regarding the one-year visa.
A visa is not required for the countries listed below for tourism or business purposes for a period not exceeding 60 days. However, please keep in mind that while a visa is not required, you must adhere to the following requirements:
Starting 1 May 2025, all non-Thai nationals entering Thailand must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within 3 days before arrival. For more information, please visit https://tdac.immigration.go.th/
The process is mandatory but free of charge.
However, travellers holding non-Thai passports who are transiting through Thailand without passing through immigration are exempt from this requirement.
After completing the form online, travellers will receive a QR code, which must be presented – either digitally or printed – along with their passport to immigration officers upon arrival.
If you need assistance with completing the form, Global Visa Lab is here to help. Please contact us for support in submitting your Digital Arrival Card.
Please be advised that as of November 22, 2021, only electronic Thailand visas (ETA) are being issued. The original passport is no longer required; instead, a copy of the passport's main page with the photo will suffice. Once issued, the visa will be sent to you via secure email.

Once the e-Visa application is approved, applicants will receive a confirmation email. It is kindly advised to print a copy of this email to present to airline and Thai Immigration officials for verification when traveling to Thailand.
We recommend applicants to apply for a visa at least 30 days before intended departure date. However, please refrain from submitting application more than 90 days in advance, as most visas are valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. If you apply too early, the visa may expire before your travel date, which would require you to reapply and make another payment.
Click the “Apply for My eVisa” button at the top of the page and complete your Application Package.
Please send all required documents to us via email.
We will make sure that everything is complete and will apply for the eVisa on your behalf.
Once your visa is approved, we verify all details and send it to you via secure email.
